Cute animal bronze sculpture - The Panda - created by Milo

This splendid animal bronze sculpture is a magnificent creation, made by Portuguese sculptor Milo. The sculpture depicts a lazy panda sitting on the ground. The strikingly life-like animal features a slight patina that adds to the artworks vibrancy. The sculpture is signed by  the artist Milo and is made of 100% Bronze, while the base the panda is sitting on is made from finest marble. Milo created a very naturaland realistic sculpture of a sitting panda, doing great work in adding typical characteristics of the distinctive asian bear such as the bulky head or the contrastly coloured fur. The result of Milo's work is a modern animal sculpture with a very realistic touch, which stands out in every collection of animal bronze figures.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively manufactured with the help of lost-wax casting.

The famous Portuguese artist Milo, who was born in 1955, is one of our closest partners. He has been working with our foundry for years and has become very popular. Milo studied at Lisbon and started to sell his first sculptures during his time as a student. As an artist he specialized on creating modern art, nude sculptures and animal figures. This particular figure here is a great depiction of a panda. Considered an endangered species, only between 2.500 and 3.000 animals are living in the wild. Their habitat is heaily restricted to some Chinese provinces, like Shanxi, Gansu and Sichuan. All other pandas are living in zoos or wildlife parks. Bao Bao, the panda which is living at the Berlin Zoo, is known to be the oldest panda worldwide.
