This is a very impressive Art Deco Bronze Statue on a marble base, designed by the famous artist Guiraud Riviére. The sculpture carries the signature of the artist, just like the original figure. The name of this attractive statue is called  "The Comet" and is one of the most announced bronze motives of Guiraud Riviére. A nude woman with her body in an extended position and long hair, is like a dream only in bronze! Placed on a two-layer marble base, this magnificent item is really one of a kind. The Statue is made of finest bronze material, casted in our foundry in an amazing agreement to the original. An absolute eye-catcher for friends of bronze sculptures or Modern Art collectors. Maurice Guiraud-Riviere was bon on February 10, 1881 in Toulouse, France. After he finished school he studied at the “Ècole des Beaux-Arts” in Paris, France. During the 1920's and 1930's, Maurice Guiraud-Riviere exhibited his work at the„Salon des Artistes“ and the “Salon des Humouristes”. The favoured objects for his sculptures were animals, such as horses, dancers in different artistic poses and also sportive athletes. The life of the painter and sculptor Maurice Guiraud-Riviere ended in 1947.
