What a sensational bronze figure! This beautiful Art Deco Nude Bronze sculpture displays a young woman with a bow, created and designed by Pierre le Faguays. The sculpture is named "Diana" after the goddess of hunting. The goddess Diana is dressed in a thin toga along with a bow in her left hand pointing skywards, mimicking a shot of an arrow. The sculpture was created by Faguays and made of finest bronze material. This Art Deco piece was casted in our foundry in an amazing agreement to the original.
As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire production process. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.
The sculpture "Diane" was designed by the French artist Pierre le Faguays (1920-1929). Diane is well-known in Roman mythology as the goddess of hunting and birthing. As goddess of hunting Diane is always shown as a petite and dynamic goddess with bow and arrow or with her lance. Her toga is short because she needs to be flexible while she is en route. Diana is a famous goddess and was often portrayed in the 16th century together with her brother Apollo.
