"Bronze sculpture - Native American with bear - from Carl Kauba"
This is an amazing bronze sculpture of a Native American holding a little bear his hand. The figure is signed with KAUBA and mounted on a solid marble-base. The shown sculpture is showing a very exceptional situation. The up-grown indigenous of America is holding a little baby bear in his left hand. The unique piece was produced in very filigree and detailed way and is a great copy of the original sculpture made by C. Kauba. The shown sculpture is as filigree as possible in comparison to the original and also endued with the signature of Kauba. Our sculpture is made of 100% finest bronze and was mounted on a solid base made of marble that completes the sculpture in an elegant way.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.
The shown sculpture was made by the sculptor Carl Kauba (1865-1922), who was fascinated by the culture and the landscape of the American West. Karl Cauda studied in Austria and reportedly went to America in 1886. But some critical voices assume Kauba never set foot on American soil. But the sculptor Kauba was well provided with weapons and costumes as well as with artefacts and props. Carl Kauba did a great job creating sculptures characterized by intricate detail and ornament. The Native Americans that Kauba pictured in an amazing way are still living in reservations in parts of North America.
