Contemporary Bronze Sculpture - Blue Whale Mother With Her Child - Signed Milo

Placed on a discreet black marble base, this contemporary sculpture of a Blue Whale Mother With Her Child by the artist Milo is a remarkable example of a bronze animal figurine. Smooth and delicate surfaces make it seem as if the two whales are floating in the room. The contrast to this is Milo’s depiction of water in the transitional area to the marble base. Still, the two different surface structures harmonise with each other, which helps to highlight the whale figurines even more. The reason for this is Milo’s use of a stamp print patina, which skilfully puts the animals in the limelight. The final refinement of this opulent animal sculpture was done by polishing the bronze material, which reinforces the outlines of this figurine that is limited to 20 exclusive pieces.
