Large bronze sculpture - The Vine (1921) - Harriet Frishmuth

This adorable bronze sculpture is a masterpiece from the famous artist and sculptor Harriet Frishmuth. It shows a beautiful nude woman standing onto a rock and holding some vine. This genuine bronze was costly coloured with a green patina. Just like its archetype, our bronze is signed with the signature of H. Frishmuth.

Bronze has doubled in value over the last 12 months and is now considered a precious metal. Hence our sculptures are not only eye candy but also perfect investment pieces.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.
 

All of our sculptures are also suited for the laying-out of a garden area, where they after a while get a bronze typical patina by weather.

Harriet Whitney Frishmuth was an very famous American sculptor, who was well known for gigantic bronze sculptures. Harriet Whitney Frishmuth was born on September 17, 1880 in Philadelphia. She attended the French Ècole des Beaux-Arts and went to the Art Students League of New York. While in New York she worked as an assistant to the sculptor Karl Bitter and performed dissections at the College of Physicians and Surgeons. Frishmuths work is exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, at the National Academy of Design and Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. She died in 1980 at the age of 99.
