Product description

"Modern Art Fibreglass Figure "Jekyll and Hyde""

Weight 5,6 kg

The modern art sculpture “Jekyll and Hyde” is a fantastic piece of art made by the German artist Martin Klein who tried to interpret the myths of two souls living in one body. His sculpture was made of fibreglass and is really impressive because of the unusual and very modern design; the head of “Jekyll and Hyde” was split in two parts but is still not completely divided into two parts. The sculpture is looking like a roll with a face at its front. “Jekyll and Hyde” is a modern sculpture with a very eye-catching colour – fiery red and a smooth designed surface. A simple black subsoil perfects the modern art fibreglass figure of Martin Klein.

Our modern fibreglass sculptures are made by a complex process, starting with producing a sample for the cast. After the completion of the cast, the surface gets polished, smoothed and prepared for the priming. Then the fibreglass sculptures are painted twice and again polished. After that our high quality sculptures – produced in absolute perfection – are ready for sale.

The fibreglass sculpture “Jekyll ad Hyde” is a modern interpretationof a dual personality and was created after an idea of the German artist Martin Klein who is working as sculptor as well as painter. Klein is known for his great sculptures as well as for his talent to do crazy re-interpretations of traditional or well-known themes. Here, Klein reinterpreted the classic novel of “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”, a classic story that was written by Robert Louis Stevenson (* 1850; † 1894). The book is known as part of the so-calledworld literature, was published in 1886 and is about the split personality of a lawyer from England named John Gabriel Utterson.
