Greek Statue - Hygieia - Goddess of Health - Limited

Hygieia – goddess of bodily and spiritual health and patron of apothecaries. She is mentioned in the Hippocratic oath, she was revered in ancient Greece, and even today, the goddess Hygieia is still a heavily symbolic figure. The beautiful goddess is accompanied by a serpent at all times, and her name has its roots in the Greek adjective hygieia, which could be translated as ‘beneficial to one’s health’. Césaro’s interpretation of the Greek goddess Hygieia recreates this symbolism and depicts a pretty, young woman in Greek garments who holds a staff with a serpent in her hand. The opulent bronze statue is exclusively limited to 20 pieces and serially numbered. This mythological bronze sculpture can be used both as an interior decoration as well as a garden sculpture.

Just like all of the bronze pieces in our shop, this work of art is also cast by hand and subject to our strict quality guidelines during its production. Additionally, all of our sculptures are exclusively created via the lost wax technique.
