Miguel Fernando Lopez, called Milo, was born on July 12, 1955. He grew up in Lisbon, Portugal, and he is living there even today. Now he prefers a silent suburb of the capital city. Hi got to know his wife, when he studied graphic art at the university in Lisbon. He went to Italy to pass his semesters abroad and collected a lot of impressions. These sensations from Rom and Venice influence the progress of his art works. After the trip abroad in 1976 he began with the first tries to sell his sculptures. Milo could use the contacts of his father, who worked as an art trader. After graduation he achieved first successes and some years later he asserted oneself as artist and sculptor. The modern art and the creation of animal and nude sculptures are essential for Milo.
