Modern Art bronze sculpture squating nude dancer from Milo

This amazing sculpture of a chubby dancing girl was made by the famous artist Milo. The sculpture impresses the observer because of the filigree attitude of the young woman which seems to dance like a skinny lightweight. The attractive dancing woman is kneeling and holding her arms in opposite directions. She seems to enjoy the dancing workout. The sculpture is a little bit abstract, but the observer will still identify the dancing girl easily. The round shaped sculpture with a cragged looking surface is fixed on a huge marble-base made of finest dark marble.

The great artist Milo, also known with his normal name Miguel Vernando Lopez, is a great Portuguese artist, who created this breath taking sculpture of the chubby nude dancer. Milo was born in Lisbon in 1955 and is a well known local hero with a great passion for art. Milo studied art at the University of Lisbon when he was a young man and he quickly found his subjects: Milo early decided to dedicate his ability to produce Modern Art sculptures, animal sculptures and awesome nude sculptures, like the naked dancing woman. His bronze figures are popular collector items. The artist is working as freelance artist all over Europe and we are very glad the Milo also cooperates with our foundry since a few years.
