Bird Bronze Hummingbird at Bud - Limited Bronze Sculpture - Animal Statue

Placed on a green marble base, this contemporary bronze sculpture by German artist Martin Klein depicts a stunning snapshot. The sculpture shows a naturally shaped hummingbird that refreshes itself at a flower bud. The delicate bronze statue is particularly characterised by the static effect of the motif. A single twig forms the frame for this sculpture, which is limited to twenty pieces. The twig has a number of blossoms that are highlighted in decorative pink hues. One of these blossoms has a direct connection to the main protagonist of the motif - a little hummingbird. It seems as if the hummingbird is floating in the air. The only point of connection between plant and bird is the long beak that touches the blossom. The surface refinement of the bronze statue was done via an immensely elaborate process. The resulting marbled patina is reminiscent of a porcelain structure, which further emphasises the fragile effect of the delicate bronze statue. Nonetheless, this contemporary statue is made of 100% robust bronze. Additionally, the decorative animal figurine bears the signature of the artist and is serially numbered.
