Large Ikarus Sculpture - Erotic Gay Bronze - A.A. Weinman

This high impressive and legendary large Icarus Erotic Gay-Bronze from the age of the Greek Mythology shows the famous Icarus, son of Daedalus. The sculpture shows the young Icarus with wide spread wings, looking up to the sky and ready to take off to fly over the ocean. The sculpture pictures a classical item of Greek Mythology. It is a fantastic art object garnished with many small details, like the filigree designed wings of the naked Icarus. Adolph Alexander Weinman designed this mythology sculpture and signed it too with "A. A. Weinman". We used finest bronze to produce this bronze cast. The large sculpture is affixed on a small classy marble-base. In comparison to the original the sculpture was produced as detailed and as filigree as possible.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.

The US- German sculptor Adolph Alexander Weinman was born in Karlsruhe, Germany on December 11, 1870. His family immigrated to the USA when A. A. Weinman was only ten years old. After A. A. Weinman was grown up, Weinman studied sculpture. After he finished his studies, he worked as assistant of Olin Warner and Charles Henry Niehaus.  Adolph Alexander Weinman, who died on August 1952 in Port Chester created many famous sculptures including the "Walking Liberty"- the design of the American Eagle. The shown sculpture A. A. Weinman created is an image of Icarus, the son of Daedalus. Icarus is a character of Greek Mythology and is well-known for his flight with wings made by his father of feathers and wax to close to the sun.
