"Modern Cubism Sculpture - Guitar, signed A. Stevens"
The modern Cubism sculpture „Guitar“ is an image of an abstract designed music instrument that reminds the observer of the characteristic of Cubism art. The exhibit was made of 100% finest bronze and after a design of the artist Alfred Stevens (1818-1875). The flat surface of this bronze sculpture is designed very modern and looks great because of the combination with tiny applications at the body of the guitar. Because „Guitar“ is a high quality art object the sculpture is signed with “Stevens”. Furthermore the bronze exhibit was affixed on a flat pedestal made of marble to perfect the sculpture.
As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.

Back in England Stevens was working as a teacher at the „Somerset House“ at the „School of Design“ and dedicated a huge part of his life creating a huge monument – the Wellington Monument inside Paul’s Cathedral.
