Sleeping Nude on Marble - Erotic Bronze - signed by Milo

This "Sleeping Nude on Marble" was designed by the Portuguese artist Milo. Shown, is a nude, sleeping woman which is stretching her backside upwards with crossed feet, along with her long flowing hair as is hangs down on the hard bedstead, in this case a dark marble base. The figure bears the signature at the same position like the original and on a desk, a shelf or beside the fireplace, this little nude sculpture cuts a fine figure.

The bronze figure was made in the lost wax method practiced for thousands of years and meets strict quality guidelines. The process is subject to a complex, multi-day process of about 30 steps.

Milo is a Portuguese-born sculptor, who achieved great fame with its distinctive animal sculptures and erotic plastics. After Milo completed his studies of art, he started to work as a freelance artist. With his wife and his son Pablo, also a promising artist of undoubted talent, he lives and works in a suburb of the Portuguese capital Lisbon.
