The “Nude of a lustful young man” is an erotic bronze figure of the artist M. Nick. The figure represents the classical ideology of beauty, especially the ideal atheletic body. With its slim body image, the young man evokes the athletic strength of David by Michelangelo. But unlike David, the genital of this naked youth is almost grotesquely oversized and functions as a symbol of power and fertility. In front of the viewer’s eyes the lecherous young man takes his clothes off and shows his youthful virility. The sculpture stands on a plinth of a marble base and is signed by M. Nick.
