Cute bronze figure - procumbent fairy elfin - signed by MILO

This beautiful and detailed mythology sculpture of a procumbent fairy elfin is a cute bronze figure that high-jacked the observer to a world full of myth and magic. The lovely pixy was designed by Milo, a well-known Portuguese sculptor. The signed figure was created in a very filigree way with many beloved details, like the moony view of the little fairy elfin or the adorable dress. Milo decided to use different colours to advance the artistic expression of this hand made sculpture. While the dress is coloured in a dark red, the little wings and the hair decoration are painted yellow. The shoes of this little pixy are as red as the dress. The cute procumbent fairy elfin is laying on a solid, squarish formed and greenish marble-base. The stunning sculpture was made of 100% finest bronze.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.

The well-known artist and sculptor Milo was the one, who created this lovely procumbent pixy. Milo, fully named Miguel Fernando Lopez, was born in 1955 in Lisbon, Portugal. When he was young he studied art and sculpting at the University of Lisbon, where he also met his future wife. The sculptor also started to work as a freelance artist besides his study and intensified this works after the successfully finished his study. Nowadays he is a famous Portuguese artist and sculptor, earning money by working as a freelance artist all over Europe and luckily also as a partner of our foundry. His artwork is focused on creating stunning modern art sculptures, impressive erotic sculptures and composing cute and abstract animal sculptures. And of course Milo loves to create mystic dreamlike sculptures like this little procumbent fairy elfin.
