Amusing Animal bronze figure - Polar Bear on its Paunch

This is a very amusing and funny Animal sculpture, made by the famous Portuguese sculptor Milo. It shows a chubby polar bear lying on its paunch and sleeping. The figures charisma will put a smile on the observer's face. The body of the wild animal is placed in a strange position, but the polar bear seems very relaxed and satisfied. The figure who takes a rest is set on a cuboid shaped marble base and will be a gain for each collection of beautiful Animal bronzes. The plain and reduced sculpture is made of 100% bronze and dark polished marble.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.

Bronze Animal Sculptures for Sale

This wonderful and humorous Animal sculpture was made by the Portuguese artist Milo, who works as a freelance sculptor throughout Europe. Milo was born as Miguel Fernando Lopez in Lisbon in 1955 and studied in this beautiful city art and sculpture. He lives together with his wife in a suburb of Lisbon and we are glad, that he also creates great pieces of art for our foundry. His works are marked by Modern Art and he prefers to create nude or animal sculptures, like this one of a polar bear. This wild species of bears lives in the Arctic and embodies the power and strength of nature. Polar bears are often underestimated, because they seem cute, calm and clumsy; but indeed they are wild predators and very dangerous animals.
