The first Vienna bronze sculptures were made at the end of the Biedermeier era but the height of Vienna Bronze sculptures was between 1881 and 1914, the beginning of World War I. Many of the Vienna Art sculptures were melted down during the 1st and 2nd World War, but the tradition of these fantastic and filigree sculptures was never ended and expierienced a great renaissance after this dull time period.
