Iguana on a Branch - Modern Animal Sculpture - signed Milo

“Iguana on Branch” is a Modern Animal Sculpture made by the Portuguese artist Milo in a very natural way with many filigree details. This animal sculpture is a very realistic image of the reptile lying wooden branch. Only the material – 100% finest bronze – make the difference between a real iguana and this sculpture of an iguana. Milo designed the surface of the small reptile just like the skin of it and therefore making it look  very natural. “Iguana on a Branch” is an amazing image and a great present for all reptile keepers or friends with exciting outdoor area designs; bronze is a weatherproofed material. The bronze was perfected with the signature of Milo.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.

The Portuguese artist Miguel Fernando Lopez, better known as Milo, was born on July 12, 1955 in Lisbon and is well known for his extraordinary sculptures. Milo focused on modern art, abstract art, nude art and animal sculptures like the “iguana on a branch”. Milo has been working with our foundry since numerous years and created this bronze figure as he admires those small reptiles, Milo himself thinks they are amazing animals. They have sizesranging from 14 cm up to two metres and belong to the family of squamates. These lizards have their natural habitat across the North and South American kontinent aswell as the Caribbean and Galapagos Islands. Their habitat consists of rooks, trees and the forrest floor and their nutrition depends on their species and includes insects, algae and plants.
