The modern sculpture “Woman’s Head was created by the Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani (* July 12, 1884; January 24, 1920) in 1912. While the original sculpture of “Woman’s Head” was made of stone this recast was made of 100% finest bronze. And while the original is nowadays exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York this exhibit can be exhibited everywhere, like inside the living room or even at an office. The sculpture was affixed on a base of marble. “Woman’s Head” is a sculpture with a very noble and majestic touch. The pure design of the sculpture is a typical characteristic of all sculptures made by Modigliani. For the perfect finish the modern sculpture “Woman’s Head” was signed with “Modigliani”.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.
