The bronze sculpture “Horse Head” was made as a homage to the great artist, painter, sculptor and graphic designer Pablo Picasso (* October 25, 1881 in Malaga; April 8, 1973 in Mougins). This animal sculpture was made of 100% finest Bronze and is a signed exhibit that shows an abstract designed head of a horse. The long horse head is affixed parallel to the solid marble base but the ears of the animal are over the pedestal. Because the design of this modern art animal sculpture is timeless, it fits in every ambience, no matter if modern or traditional.
As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.

The painter, graphic designer and sculptor Pablo Picasso was born on October 25, 1881 in Malaga, Spain and became one of the most important and best known artists ever. He – together with Georges Braque (* May 13, 1882; † August 31, 1963) – invented the Cubism. Furthermore Picasso was known as the creator of the dove of peace. Another well known piece of art made by Picasso is the painting “Guernica” he painted in 1937; the picture is a picture of the air raid on the Spanish city Guernica during the Spanish Civil War (July1936 till April 1939). The whole life of Picasso as an artist was characterised by several periods like the blue or pink period. All in all Pablo Picasso created more than 50.000 pieces of art before he died on April 8, 1973.
