Garden Statues for Sale - Garden Sculptures - Bronze Garden Statues for Sale
As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.
All of our sculptures are also suitable for the laying-out in a garden area, where, after some time, a typical bronze patina will become present due to the weather.
"The Horse from Marly" is a fantastic sculpture made by the French Guillaume Coustou, who lived from 1677 to 1746. The painter and sculptor Coustou moved to Rome and produced for the French sculptor Pierre Legros. The style of G. Coustou was influenced by Legros and from there on, Coustou created baroque styled sculptures, such as "The Horse from Marly", which is stored at the Louvre since 1984. Guillaume Coustou moved back to Paris in 1700 and became a professor of the Royal Academie in Paris.
