Oil Painting - Manhattan Skyline V / New York - Martin Klein

The adjoining oil painting is shown the most famous city profile in the world: The skyline of Manhattan in New York City. The artwork was created as a part of a five-part series, whose common picture content is the Manhattan skyline. It was designed by the Saxon artist Martin Klein, who was inspired during his tour through the United States. Due to the applied grid, the black skyscraper in the right half of the painting gets numerous small windows. The acrylic painting is part of a five-part series; it is signed at the bottom right with "M. Klein".

All of our paintings are hand-made acrylic paintings or oil paintings and were produced in limited numbers. Each is signed by the artist Martin Klein. Because each painting is a hand made single item, small deviations to the painting on the left are possible at delivery.

Martin Klein was born in 1979 in Bischofswerda, Germany. With nineteen years he moved to Berlin to study business administration. During his Australian visit, he decided to devote more attention to the art. In Dresden he worked alongside painting with the creation of three-dimensional art objects. He studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts and worked in an art gallery, to finance his second degree. He produces modern, sometimes humorous sculptures. His abstract art paintings depicting mainly landscapes and modern woman acts are characterized by unexcited color designs. Its various acrylic mixing and filling techniques give his works a distinctive character.
