Product description

"Modern Art - Standing Woman - Bronze, sign. G. Lachaise"

Weight 4,9 kg

“Standing Woman” was once created by the well known sculptor Gaston Lachaise (*March 19, 1882 in Paris; † October 18, 1935 in New York, USA) and is nowadays the best known sculpture of the French American artist Lachaise. The sculpture was made of 100% finest bronze material and is showing a nude woman with lifted arms. “Standing Woman” is an attractive nude sculpture that presents the typical characteristics of the female nude figures made by Lachaise: sensual shapes, female hips and pure nudity. Our exhibit is affixed on a flat marble base and signed with “Lachaise”. The little abstract designed bronze figure was handmade and originally created by Lachaise between 1928 and 1930.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.
