“Rabbit” is a modern art animal figure that was created after an exhibit of Umberto Boccioni (* October 19, 1882; † August 17, 1916), an Italian artist. The modern designed animal sculpture is an abstract portray of a little rabbit and was designed with a smooth surface and only a very few details. This reduction of details as well as the noble and timeless material bronze makes this animal sculpture being a very special modern exhibit. The only details are the little eyes of the rabbit and the small paws. “Rabbit” is a modern sculpture that was made of 100% finest bronze material and furthermore signed by the artist. A flat base of marble perfects the whole animal sculpture.

Umberto Boccioni was an Italian painter and sculptor who was born on October 19, 1882 in Reggio Calabria. Boccioni studied design in Rome and moved to Paris in 1902 for studying the impressionism and post-impressionism paintings. After staying in Paris he travelled to Russia and Venice, where he started doing nude art. His art work was marked by the Futurism, a kind of avant-garde styled movement. Besides working as painter and sculptor Boccioni also published books about the Futurism painting. His best known sculpture is the large sculpture “Unique Forms of Continuity in Space” he created in 1913. The life of Umberto Boccioni ended on August 17, 1916 near the city Verona.
