"William II. - German Emperor bronze bust, signed Gladenbeck"
This historical Military bronze bust shows the German Emperor William II., who reigned the country from 1888 to 1918. The special expression of his face seems very natural and is worked in detail. The King of Prussia and Emperor of the German Reich wears Prussian uniform clothes and a fur coat and is decorated with military medals. The sculpture is set on a special shaped bronze plinth, that is important for its stability. The Military bronze bust is made of 100% finest bronze and has a signature of its founder Hermann Gladenbeck at the reverse side.
As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.

The German Founder Hermann Gladenbeck created this Military bronze bust of the German Emperor William II. The Prussian King and Emperor of the German Reich was born in 1859 in Berlin and died in 1941 in the Netherlands. He was the last Emperor of Germany, when the state was reformed after the end of World War I. He was an ineffective leader and made grievous political mistakes during his reign, for example he dismissed the competent Chancellor Otto von Bismarck. His behaviour during the July Crisis of 1914 led to the outbreak of World War I.
