Tall Limited Bronze Angel Statue - signed Thorvaldsen - Sculpture

This exclusive bronze sculpture is signed by Bertel Thorvaldsen and combines artistic surface design with an exclusive colour palette. This decorative angel statue is characterised by a heavily naturalistic motif design. As such, this beautiful female nude is reminiscent of a statue from antiquity. Starting from the finely crafted face of the angel figurine, the elaborate colour palette of the bronze statue is particularly detailed in the area of the flower crown, and it culminates in the flawless implementation of the angel’s wings, where you can see almost every individual feather. Yet, it is not the only structurally detailed surface design of this angel statue, which makes it a particularly decorative object. The figurine is made from 100% bronze and has a bright, marbled special patina which transitions the robust material of the bronze into a fragile-looking state that is reminiscent of porcelain. However, this occurs only on the visual level. Additionally, in the area of the wing, there is a special colour transition towards darker brown tones that completes the overall effect of this beautiful angel statue. The decorative angel is exclusively limited to 20 pieces and serially numbered.
